DHCP Starvation
Rapidly request DHCP leases to exhaust a target network's address pool.
DHCP Starvation
This tool sends rapid DHCP requests to a network in order to exhaust its available IP leases.
- Requirements: The ATK bridge must already be joined to the target Wi‑Fi network via Settings → Connect → ATK Network Connection. The DHCP Starvation card reuses the same status badge, so it refuses to start unless that badge reads
ATK Connected: <SSID>. - Start/Stop: Use the buttons to start or stop the attack. The UI shows “Queued…” first and switches to Running only after the device confirms it has started. It switches back to Start only after a stop confirmation.
- Stats: Live tiles display:
- Leases Requested
- Leases ACK (acknowledged)
- Elapsed time
- Rate (requests per second)
- Busy States: If another operation is active (e.g., longer scans), starting may be rejected as busy. While DHCP Starvation runs, other operations that require the radio may be limited.
How to Use
- Go to Settings → Connect → ATK Network Connection and connect the ATK module to the target SSID (enable or disable the Random MAC toggle as needed, then click Connect).
- Open Wi‑Fi Attacks → DHCP Starvation. The badge at the top reuses the ATK status and should read
ATK Connected: <SSID>. - Click Start Starvation. The button shows Queued… until the device acknowledges start.
- Observe stats update in real time. Use Stop Starvation to end; the UI waits for the device’s stop confirmation before resetting.
Notes
- While running, the device prioritizes the attack and may report other requests as busy.
