BLE Recon
Quickly scan for nearby BLE devices and view:
- Name
- MAC Address
- RSSI (signal strength)
- Type (when detected)
Usage
- WebUI → Wireless Recon → BLE Recon.
- Tap “Start BLE Scan” to run a short scan; tap “Refresh” to rescan.
Notes
- Many devices don’t broadcast a name; those display MAC only.
- RSSI closer to 0 is stronger (e.g., −40 strong, −90 weak).
- If nothing appears, rescan or move closer to known BLE devices.
- Device type is inferred from advertised service UUIDs or manufacturer data when present (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Flipper variants) and may be blank if unknown.
Saving BLE Scans
- Toggle Save BLE scans to SD card in the WebUI to save each capture to the attached SD card.
- Saved files are written to
/scans/using sequentially numbered names such asble1.json,ble2.jsonand so on. - Each JSON file contains the raw scan payload returned by the BLE recon endpoint for later analysis or sharing.
